Front Hall

The front hall has a beautiful original staircase, detailed with original trim and wainscoting. We refinished the original Canadian beech hardwood floors.  We discovered a secret panel that drops down with a rope and pulley to expose the underside of the stairs and gives access to the powder room plumbing.  We decided on a sisal runner for the stairs.  The petticoat table is a rare find from an estate sale and the lamps are created from silver candlesticks.
