Bella Terra isn’t a hotel, and it’s not quite a vacation rental either. It’s our home—a historic 1910 Mission-style property surrounded by two acres of gardens, mature trees, an orchard and all the little signs of everyday life that make a place feel special.
It’s a peaceful little corner of Phoenix where you can drink your morning coffee among the trees, wander through the orchard, listen to the chickens, or simply close the door and enjoy some quiet.
The Guest Cottage
The cottage began its life in the 1940s as a one-bedroom home with a full kitchen, bath and living room. In 2024, we gave this little cottage a rejuvenation, creating a comfortable retreat while preserving its charm and connection to Bella Terra’s history.

The Pool House
Serenity beside the pool and garden.
Renovated in 2022, the Pool House offers a comfortable one-bedroom retreat overlooking the pool and gardens of Bella Terra.
The living room and kitchenette make this an especially comfortable space, while the bedroom can be configured with either a king-size bed or two twin beds—making it flexible for couples, friends or family.
The kitchenette includes:
- Beverage refrigerator
- Microwave
- Air fryer
- Nespresso coffee machine
- Milk frother
- Electric tea kettle
- Dishes, glasses, silverware and other essentials
The bedroom offers your choice of:
- One king-size bed
- Two twin beds
The bathroom features a large walk-in shower and all the amenities you will need.
The living room is a large, comfortable space with a smart television and Wi-Fi.

One of the things we love most about the Pool House is its outdoor space.
The front porch overlooks the pool, while the back porch looks toward the garden and hen house. It’s an ideal place to read a book in the afternoon or unwind at the end of the day.
The Pool House sleeps up to two guests. There is a twin rollaway bed that is available if needed.
