Two Days of Prime Savings are Going on Now~ July 16-17

If you love a bargain or deal, Amazon provides many opportunities during their Prime Days savings sale, which is today, July 16th and tomorrow, July 17th. The sales event begins at 3 a.m. EDT/12:01 a.m. PDT on July 16. Typically I check the price of the items I re-order on a frequent basis. There are some early sales events and who knows what will be marked down during these next two days. It is fun to look, especially if you are making a larger product investment. Here are some of my favorite items and early Prime Days savings. I am hoping the discounts will be even greater over the next 2 days.

Who Can Participate in the Sale?

In order to participate in the Prime Day sales, you must be an Amazon Prime member. An Amazon Prime membership is $14.99/month or $139 per year. Student rates are $7.49/month or $69 per year. But the perks of an Amazon Prime membership extend far beyond access to savings events. You get fast, free shipping, a free Grubhub+ membership, Whole Foods grocery delivery and more. Larger Purchases I am Considering

Having 3 dogs and 2 cats at our cabin, is a reason to constantly vacuum. With only our Dyson vacuum cleaner up here, I am considering the HONITURE Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo, which gets high marks for pet hair. Currently it is 15% off (at $399.99), but I am hoping it will have additional deals today and tomorrow.

I recently dropped and shattered the glass front of my Kindle Paperwhite. Last time I did this, I think it cost me about $150 to have it repaired. It may be time to buy another. Hoping for some discounts during Prime Days but right now, it is priced at $149.99. Even though I do like the feel of a real book, nothing beats having this technology especially when traveling as it has 16 GB of storage.

Are You Baking Bread Yet?

Not sure what the Prime Day sales will be on Dutch ovens, but this one has a 4.7 star rating with over 1,200 reviews. The 6 quart size is only $49.99 and the 4.5 quart size is $45.99. I bake bread in both size pots so either will work. Of course, you can make roasts, stews, soups and numerous other dishes in this pot. You may want to keep an eye on this, but it’s a fabulous price now.

Fashion Bargains

I own a few Sketchers and they are so lightweight and surprisingly comfortable. These Sketchers Women’s Go Walk 5 are a terrific a price ($32) at 20% off. This is a Limited Time Deal so when they reach their quota, then the discount disappears. So if you are putting in your steps, this would be a great gift to yourself and your health.

Need a cute sandal this summer? These Clarks Women’s Breeze Sea sandals are 50% off at $27.70! This shoe has over 85,000 reviews, with a high rating score of 4.7. With multiple color choices, this is another Limited Time Deal. Get it while you can at this price. They look very comfortable and supportive. Again, another item in my cart.
